Yellow Lantern Public Speaking for Kids

brightening pathways through public speaking for kids

Yellow Lantern is a person-centred approach to developing public speaking ability. We teach kids how to free themselves of perfectionism and be natural speakers. Rather than focusing exclusively on the skill and technique of public speaking, our facilitators focus on helping young people make powerful choices, develop emotional awareness, self articulation and belief in the self.

This method of training requires you to build on your existing skills as a Life Coach, Counsellor or Teacher. To successfully apply to become a licensee of this program, you will need to have:

  • a strong facilitation background
  • experience working with young people
  • current working with children's check
  • a passion for transformational work
  • experience of public speaking
  • an existing qualification as a Counsellor, Life Coach or Teacher

You will be responsible for the delivery and the promotion of the 8-week Yellow Lantern course to primary schools & small groups in your local area. You will negotiate session times with your clients and be paid via Yellow Lantern head office in Melbourne.

We offer course materials, admin support & high quality training based on modern coaching and counselling principals (delivered by Nathalie Brewer, Founder of Yellow Lantern). Full curriculum resource notes and class plans will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for people already working in the field of health & wellbeing who want to teach in schools, expand their offering to the world, become active role models for kids and be a part of this incredible life changing program.

We do two intakes per year for new facilitators. February and May. Training is held in Melbourne.

To be considered for the next intake, please email with a cover letter stating why you wish to be a part of our team and attach a recent copy of your resume.

Before making contact please watch the below video so you have a core understanding of the program.
